What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a natural system of medicine that originated in India and evolved there for more than 5,000 years. It is one of the world’s oldest healing traditions, yet its guiding principles are now being validated by modern medical science.

Ayurveda focuses on the whole person – the mind, body, and spirit – seeking to correct the imbalances that cause distress and, ultimately, contribute to disease.

What happens during an Ayurvedic consultation?

In a session with Belinda we’ll have a heart-to-heart conversation about your concerns. You will be asked a broad range of questions about your lifestyle, activities, diet, relationships, work, and current sources of stress.

Belinda will provide a mind-body assessment that will help you understand your unique mind-body constitution and any underlying imbalances.

It’s a pleasure to provide diet, lifestyle practices and herbal supplements to people with a wide variety of health issues and challenging life situations; including physical illness, anxiety, depression, weight concerns, sleep, relationship stress, emotional and burnout. In our first session together, we’ll have a heart to heart discussions about your concerns. You’ll be asked a broad array of questions about your lifestyle, your activities, diet, relationships, work and current sources of stress.

In a comfortable, relaxed setting on Zoom or in person, Belinda works with you to restore your balance and transform your relationship to your body, mind, and the world around you.

Applying simple lifestyle practices into your day in a morning or evening routine, diet, exercise, breath work, mindfulness, yoga postures (six directions of the spine for a healthy spine), all to open possibilities for Health as we age.

(Dawn came to me due to sleep concerns, often only getting 3 hrs a night of sleep.
